Big Chocolate releases a brand new 5 song EP entitled “Clean”, available now on Beatport and iTunes.

After the recent success with Red Headed Locc and The Red EP, Cameron Argon aka Big Chocolate is taking a brave departure into unknown musical territories. Creating a melodic and minimal approach to trap influenced bass music, filled with acoustic guitars and booming 808 sub bass, offset with lush atmospheres, sweeping soundscapes, and driving drumbeats.

The Seattle based musician has created a aural environment drenched in crystal clear sonic elements and thought provoking sounds, perfectly mirroring the imagery of the EP title. So I REMEMBER telling my team that I didn’t think Red Headed Locc would do well on beatport and I was a-scared to try and go for it. They were like ‘CAMERON YOUR ALBUM IS GOOD AND PEOPLE ON BEATPORT WILL LIKE IT TRUST US’ but I was hesitant because I knew it wasn’t a typical release that would rock charts on beatport due to it’s…. well… oddness.

Red Headed Locc has been out since the 4th and it’s now the 7th so it’s really only been three days since it’s been out. It’s charted as a top release on every genre that it’s classified under INCLUDING overall release.

Just a quick blog saying thanks for this. I honer your loyalty.

Been lagging hard on the cameveryday’s from the past week. Good news: got my actual camcorder back. Bad news: I’ve just been generally busy /// lagging to get them out on time. If you’re reading this going ‘umm wtf is cameveryday srs’. It’s a daily vlog I do on youtube. Another reason this website makes things more AWESOME…. is if you DON’T want to subscribe because you don’t use youtube too much or for any other reason…. THIS WEBSITE PUTS THE LATEST CAMEVERYDAY ON IT… so you can just check back from time to time to see what I’m up to in a daily video format! Alright, I got a decent amount of editing to do so back to work.

Hello reader. My name is Cameron. I make music under an alias named ‘big chocolate’. If you are viewing this, then you probably are well aware of that. I’ve never had an actual website before, so i’m pretty nervous and excited at the same time. I plan on using this website as the mother lord of all social network outlets. Posting a new song tomorrow…. or… really tech speaking today. This website and this song is the start of what I really think is the actual birth of what I’ve always wanted ‘big chocolate’ to be about. Which is true artistic freedom and connection between artist and listener. You and I, you see, are not that different and I want to show you that we can all be friends. Anyways, it’s late…. too late…. and I’m way too tired to be writing the first official blog post on this pretty rad website my team and I have just launched. Stay connected my friend.
